The Simple Things in Life Bring Me Happiness

It's always good to reflect on your life and take the time to really think about the things in it. This past week I was challenged to do that as part of the Chakra Challenge. It was interesting!

One of the first things I thought I needed to do in my life was to write down 5 things every morning that I had to do to become happier. I found that many of them I was already doing and I also realized I have a lot to be happy about.

A side-effect of that part of the challenge was that I realized just how much the simple things in my life matter to me. Even the tiny details, things that most may find insignificant made me feel comfortable, happy and secure.

Taking part in the challenge this week really helped boost my self-esteem and feelings of self-value. It was much needed and appreciated internally. I think it also helped to calm me and I do feel more grounded. It's as if this week's challenge also helped to elevate all the work I did last week. I really like that.
