The Chakra Challenge

Rather than just make resolutions this year I've decided to do something different. I've been working on my health progressively for years. I move slowly so the changes become permanent without me ever feeling any stress or guilt over leaving behind the things that my body doesn't need. I've completely quit drinking Dr. Pepper, I don't even like the taste of it anymore! That's how powerful making these life changes can be. I kicked a 25+ year long addiction without even a single withdrawal symptom.

This year, I'm starting my year off with a new challenge. I've sort of devised this myself based on some information from various topics I studied in 2014. One of those obviously being chakras. I am by no means an expert but I picked up a few good ideas and have decided to challenge myself. I would love for you all to join in. If you do, come back and post here your thoughts, feelings, etc. Let me know how it goes. We can be each other's accountability partners.

For the purpose of this challenge, I'm going from the bottom up to the top, working through the chakras in order. The challenges will all be the same overall but I'll be posting some ideas and tips and I would love for you to let me know anything I miss. Each week I will pose questions designed to get you thinking, ideas for how to help boost the healing and functioning of each chakra at the beginning of the week and then sometime near the end of the week I'll post about how I did with following this challenge.

I hope at least a few of you will participate with me.

Week 1 - The Root Chakra (Muladhara)
Week 2 - The Sacral Chakra (Swadhistana)

  1. Wow, how did I miss this?? I'm excited to check it out. I love your idea. I did a meditation challenge for awhile and I really loved it. I'll have to try your challenge.

    1. I'm glad you're joining me! Let me know how it goes while you're taking the challenge. I'm finding it to be quite an interesting experience. :)

  2. Absolutely fabulous! I've been interested in chakras for many years, I wrote a post about heart chakras!

Very excited to see how this will unfold! xx

    1. I'm excited to see how this works out for you. I'm finding this challenge quite fun and I'm learning a lot about myself in the process. :)
