Don't let the genre name confuse you either. It DOES NOT all come from the UK. It comes from just about everywhere but India. So Canada, the UK, Australia, Africa, etc. Some of the songs are Indian Punjabi and some are Pakistani Punjabi. The fusion songs can include artists from all over the world. Enjoy!

Hi Kristy,
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a good list you've got. I liked Rishie Rich - Main to tere naal nachna, RDBs songs and Rabbi as well (different genre, though).
P.S. Do check out & vote for my entry for Get Published.

All mine is super old school stuff. Rishi Rich, basically everything he produced. RDB - Sadi Gali came out for the first time in 2006. Also that other song they did with Metz and Trix back in 2004, Aaja Mahi I think it is called... Also a song called Ambersariya but I can't remember who did it. I have good memories of 'singing' that song with a friend even though neither of us knew any Punjabi. And Kangna by Dr. Zeus is my go-to running song. Sohniye by Jazzy B is another one but mainly because my friend danced in the video :)
ReplyDeleteLol, I like Rishi Rich and I have some seriously old music on my iPod as well. I still listen to it regularly.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! Lol on feeling old. I have the same problem often. The 80's just couldn't possibly have been 30 years ago right? Lol...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions.
