Got Punjabi?? - Help and Resources for You

So I'm tired and I'm bored (thankfully because being busy is tiring) so I decided to just waste time searching the net for anything new and interesting. I found these and thought I would share.

For more Punjabi Tips, "like" their Facebook Page

Punjabi Tongue Twisters - not your average 'how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood' but equally as difficult to say 10 times fast!

I'm currently putting together a few new resources for the blog with a lot of things I found tonight. I need you guys to vote on some things for me. For my Indian readers, what do you wish pardesi's knew more about? For my pardesi readers, what do you want to know more about?

What resources are important to you?
Information on learning Punjabi
Information on learning Hindi
Information on Hinduism
Information on Sikhism
All of the above

Also, a new group has formed for Indian mother-in-laws with western daughter-in laws. If your MIL would like to be in the group or you are a MIL of a western DIL, please contact me with your information so we can send you an invite. The only stipulation for this group is that your MIL must have her own Facebook account (she can't share yours if you have a family account).

There is also another new group for western women who would like to chat with Indian MIL's that are not their own for insight and help understanding desi life. If you would like an invite, let me know and I will forward your information to the group owner.

Both these groups will be added to the Gori Resources page for future reference as well. These are not my groups, I wasn't asked to promote them but I think it's an excellent idea and a lot of women could benefit from it so I wanted to share it.

And finally, these resources will be permanently linked on the side of the blog in the pink Amazon widget, but here's some really neat items to help you, or your child, learn Punjabi. I really love the Gurmukhi keyboard stickers and have already ordered them myself -in red because purple isn't available...what an atrocity!
