Bhabi Needs to Update Her iPod

So I thought moving to India would give me more time to relax and unwind. Yep, that's right...I came here to be lazy! Boy was I wrong. I stay freaking busy it seems. Not in a bad way, it's been good for me I think...at least all but the sickness part but I'm sure someday I'll find some good in that too I just can't look back till that's all over and done with.

Anyway, I've grown rather tired of the tunes on my iPod and I can't seem to find anything good looking at the US billboard charts. Partly because I have to go YouTube it after so I can hear the tune better and see if I like it enough to download it. I don't ride in a car anymore to be able to tune into the radio and hear all the latest and hubby isn't wasting his life away searching for new music to share with me anymore either lol. So I need your help. You guys know everything right? So update me....I need new tunes so after Christmas is over I won't have to go back to this stuff that's getting boring.

I'm looking for upbeat songs, happy type music. No killing or hatred stuff. I know I do occasionally listen to some really heavy stuff by Limp Bizkit and Drowning Pool but that is not the norm and I have to be really upset to get that far. I like my music light and uptempo. Here's my top 20 list (most played according to my iPod) to give you guys an idea of what I like most and you all can suggest me some songs. Please, please, please! Old or new doesn't matter. I'm quite ecclectic as you will see by my list lol.

  1. Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor) (Pitbull feat T-Pain)
  2. How Low (Ludacris and Shawna)
  3. Hypnotize (Notorious Big)
  4. Like A G6 (Far East Movement)
  5. Exotic (Jennifer Stuler)
  6. Removed song from an artist I'm boycotting
  7. Psycho (Puddle of Mudd)
  8. Magic Stick (50 Cent) - Lawd....why does it embarrass me that this is in my top 10 lol.
  9. Break the Ice (Britney Spears feat. Fabulous - this is the cartoon version)
  10. Tere Bin (Without You) - Parichay Ft. Blitzkrieg
  11. Faint (Linkin Park)
  12. Beautiful (Akon)
  13. Removed song from an artist I'm boycotting
  14. Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai (Shreya Ghoshal)
  15. Youth Gone Wild (Skid Row)
  16. Leave Out All The Rest (Linkin Park)
  17. Whatta Man (Salt N' Pepa) - now I'm showing my age here.....lawd again!
  19. Rag Doll (Aerosmith)
  20. Tere Pyar (Alyssia feat. Punjabi Hit Squad)

  1. Ohhh here's a fraction of what you might like.

    Kun Faaya Ku - A R Rahman
    Bahara - Shreya Ghoshal
    Angel - Akon
    Grenade - Bruno Mars
    Judas - Lady Gaga
    Dynamite - Taio Cruz

  2. This reminds me..Try the Kolaveri Di by Dhanus. I felt its kinda strange n stupid song..but it All over Youtube, Twitter, Facebook n Newspapers too :D

  3. You got me all wrong. There's nothing wrong with listening to heavy stuff unless its about b!tches/whores, psychopathic killer clowns, satan or anything to do with the dark side. All that sh!t is embarrassing and lame.

I'll recommend three videos all from one single band.

ratm - the ghost of tom joad (It's my number one favorite of all time)

ratm - tire me (hard rock old school; tight performance, uploaded it myself)

ratm - bulls on parade (woodstock 99; crazy vibe)

  4. How about some old school Blondie, or Siouxie Sioux and the banshees, or my favorite, No Doubt before Gwen went solo?

  5. Thank you, I will check those out today.

  6. It can't be any worse than LMFAO's Sexy and I know it lol. That's all over too. I honestly thought it was one of those parody songs like weird al does to make fun of people but it's not. It's a real song...omg. It's addictive though and that's the sad part hahaha.

  7. Oh, I do have some No Doubt...they were good. I used to want to look like Gwen. She just has this classic beauty about her, she can be anything and carry off any look. I hadn't thought about Blondie or the Banshee's though. I think these are perfect for my nostalgic moods lately. Thanks!

  8. Lol, I figured you meant I needed a better variety. I did...I really only had that one song and after a while it gets old. I don't listen to all that Insane Clown Posse stuff...no worries. I agree that stuff, including System of a Down and the other thrash metal bands are way too sick and demented for my tastes. Even the Limp Bizkit was a lot heavier than I normally listen to.

    Thanks for your recommendations!
